When you request or purchase service, we collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, service address, selected package, preferred appointment date and arrival window, and any notes you submit about the garage or property.

We also keep booking and transaction records such as the deposit amount, payment status, Stripe checkout identifiers, confirmation history, and communications about your service. Stripe processes payment-card information; Garage Cleaned does not receive or store your complete card number.

Our website may automatically receive limited technical information needed for security and operation, such as request timestamps, browser or device information, and network information used for fraud prevention and rate limiting.

How we use information

• To create, confirm, schedule, and complete your garage-cleaning service.
• To process the booking deposit and maintain payment and accounting records.
• To send confirmations, service updates, and operational messages.
• To assign an appropriate service professional and provide the information needed to complete the job.
• To prevent fraud, protect the website, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.
• To improve our services using aggregated or deidentified information.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

When information is shared

We share information only as reasonably necessary with service professionals assigned to your appointment and with providers that support our operations, including Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, and our website and data-hosting providers. These parties may use the information only for the services they provide to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect customers or the public, to enforce our agreements, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger or sale.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed to provide service, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we keep, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you. Where applicable, you may also request a portable copy or appeal a decision about a privacy request. Email hello@garagecleaned.com from the address connected with your booking and describe your request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We aim to respond within 45 days where required by applicable law.

Children

Garage Cleaned is intended for adults arranging household services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
